Hoi Kun Lo has a B.A. in both Mass Communications - Print Journalism and in International Studies from the University of South Florida. She won the Tyler Ward Minority Scholarship during her undergraduate studies at USF and was the co-founder of the student organization ASIA.

Hoi has written news pieces for The St. Petersburg Times and feature profiles for citysearch.com. In addition to writing and editing marketing content, she has over five years of experience in technical communication.

Her experience in the software and payments industry includes creating new help systems for enterprise applications, writing usable manuals, and moreover refining processes within corporations.
